Travelling SOLO with 3 kids!

YES, I took my 3 children solo to America for 3.5 weeks... #callmecrazy #notjustbrave Now before I get into the nitty gritty of how I managed to survive travelling SOLO with 3 young children (Myla-5 in June, Azalea 4 in September and Elsie 4 months) to America and back- I thought I would give a little back story as to WHY half my family live there! So heres a long story short:  x2 of my sisters live in America with their American husbands (they both moved there for work purposes in 2010 and eventually met and married their husbands and...

Baby sleep routine

Baby sleep routine

* Everything in this blog are ways I have tried and tested myself personally with all 3 of my children. All 3 girls love their beds and have happily gone to bed most of their lives themselves. I don't believe we have just 'been lucky' to have good sleepers. Myla Birth Story - June 2014

Myla Birth Story - June 2014

Myla Joy Spies- Birth story (Written 2014) 02/06/14- 1 day past due date Mom arrived in Emerald at about 10 PM (We lived 9hours away from family). When she arrived she convinced me to take castor oil (old wives tale), which gave me a few contractions throughout the night but nothing consistent and it stopped by morning (I was very careful with making sure I stay hydrated when taking this). 03/06/14 I went in for a check up at the hospital and the obstetrician checked me but I wasn't even dilated enough to do a stretch and sweep. He also...
